Rent that dress! Yes really!

There was a neat post yesterday on Brides website that listed three companies that rent out dresses, like why didn't I think of that? Your thinking it too right?

This idea is slightly genius especially if you are in that time period where everywhere you look another friend is getting married or you've been asked to be in the bridal party. That is a lot of dresses to purchase and sometimes those bridesmaid dresses are a wear one time only deal. So why not rent a fabulous designer dress for only a fraction of the cost?

I took a peak through each of the sites; Rent the Runway, Vow to be Chic and Weddington Way.

Here's what I found!

Rent the Runway is fantastic! They offer all types of dresses and accessories for any occasion! They even have physical store locations in NYC and Vegas for you to try on the actual dresses! Downside- looks like they only deliver throughout the states. Sorry my fellow Canadian friends! (Don't worry though keep reading)

Weddington Way lays out all the details in an easy to navigate website and like Rent the Runway; offers dresses and accessories for an amazing price. They also ship internationally and list their shipping policies and costs.

Vow to be Chic has an airy and light feel to their site and is quite simple to navigate as well. They lay out their terms and how they work right off the bat, making the entire process a breeze. For international shipping they state to contact them for pricing and details. So fellow Canadians this site is a Go.

But hey!? What about Canada?

Well I did find a site called Rent Frock Repeat based in Toronto. Yippeee! Have to represent a fellow Canadian! This site has great pieces available to rent for weddings and events. Also you bypass all the hefty fees associated with international shipping that you would face dealing with the companies above. Its a win-win!
